Kim Wales, is the founder and CEO of Wales Capital and CrowdBureau. Kim is a change agent, lobbyist, advocate that leads the strategy, business growth (customer acquisition) and serves as the catalyst for CrowdBureau and the industry at large. Kim has 17 years in international and domestic banking experience. Kim is ranked as One of the Top 10 Experts in Securities Based Crowdfunding globally and is recognized as one of the country’s thought leaders on the JOBS Act.

Kim writes for several publications and is a frequent speaker at global events who has been quoted in media including the New York Times, Forbes, Business Week, The Deal, Black Enterprise and featured on Bloomberg-TV and BBC-TV. Kim was an invited panelist at 2013 SEC Government – Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation on Crowdfunding: Crystal ball – Now that you raised the money, what’s next for the company and the markets?

Kim is a Founding member and Board member of the Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates (CFIRA), CF50 (Think Tank) and the former Chairman of the Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA).

Kim’s client list includes the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited, Morgan Stanley, Chase Manhattan Bank, Depository Trust Clearing Corp., Securities Industry Automated Corp. (NYSE and AMEX) and Prudential. One year before founding Wales Capital, Kim served as a CEO of a fund administrator with $6.5 Billion AUA until March 2012.

Charlotte Luer, APR, has 20 years of experience in financial marketing, investor relations, marketing strategy, branding and public relations. She is a Director at Wales Capital and president of LJH Financial Marketing Strategies.

Charlotte is responsible for the educational and thought leadership initiatives, which include arranging print and broadcast interviews, and authoring news releases and byline articles for global media outlets. She also produces special events, coordinates speaker presentations at industry conferences, implements investor relations programs, and designs and leads customized communications projects for clients.

Her educational accomplishments include a B.S. in Journalism and a M.A. in Communications, both with honors, from the University of Florida. While there, she also concentrated in statistics and Latin American Affairs. She was named Graduate Research Student of the Year, and previously worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida, University of Miami and University of South Florida where she taught courses in journalism.

Ms. Luer is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and has held board positions, including serving as treasurer, chair of the Royal Palm Awards, and director of public service programs for the American Red Cross and Project L.E.A.D., a national adult literacy effort. As a member of the Junior League, she edited its magazine, helped to launch the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge project, and served for three years as Vice President of Communications and Vice President of Planning. She is an active member of the New York Junior League , Greater Naples Leadership and The League Club in Naples, Florida.
Harald Frost, PhD. is a Managing Director who has been working for financial institutions since 1993. He has studied business administration and received a doctor’s degree in statistics, with a focus on regression and model testing techniques. After working for a German state bank for almost five years, he joined IBM Germany’s business consulting company. Since 2007, has specialized in trading and risk management projects. Over the years he has developed a tool-based approach for highly efficient project communication and documentation, integrating analysis, prototyping, specification and testing in a unified framework.

Harald has written several publications with Ludwig Fahrmeir on Statistical Modelling and Model testing. He is a member of Ludwig Fahrmeir's research team.
