Kim Wales, is the founder and CEO of Wales Capital and CrowdBureau. Kim Wales is the Founder and CEO of Wales Capital and CrowdBureau, LLC. She is an Adjunct Professor in Economics, Women's Studies and Black Studies – “Entrepreneurship: Women & Diversity” at City College of New York (CCNY) and The Zahn Innovation Center. She is an author, advocate and pioneer on the JOBS Act 2012 (equity and debt internet finance) and the democratization of capital for investors, small cap companies and non -publicly traded funds.
She has been quoted in media including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, Smart CEO, Business Week, The Deal, Black Enterprise and featured on Bloomberg-TV. She is a frequent invited speaker at global events.

Ms. Wales has advised and influenced decision-making for a new investor class and asset classes through recommendations to the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, European Commission [Building a Capital Markets Union green paper], the Ontario Securities Commission, Taiwan Financial Supervisor Commission, Australian Stock Exchange and other state and federal government agencies as related to equity and debt based crowdfunding. Prior to 2012, Kim spent 17 years consulting with Banks onshore and offshore.

Ms. Wales is a Founding member and Board member of the Crowdfund Intermediary Regulatory Advocates (CFIRA), CF50 (Think Tank) and the former Chairman of the Crowdfunding Professional Association (CfPA).

Markus Riess, is an early contributor to CrowdBureau and supports Wales Capital since 2014. Markus designs analystics, rating models and statistical methods for the unique business model of CrowdBureau. He focuses on the methodological development of the CrowdBureau plattform. Markus has over 15 years of experience in the Financial, Asset Management and Energy trading industry, developing especially large scale business architectures and IT strategies in the trading, risk management and energy industry. Markus held various positions at Banking institutions and consultancy companies as an Analyst, Business Architect or Project Manager. Markus conducted projects in Asia, Europe and the US. Markus holds a Masters of Statistics of the University of Munich.

Charlotte Luer , APR, has 25 years of experience in financial marketing, branding strategy and consulting. She is a Director at Wales Capital and president of LJH Financial Marketing Strategies.

Her expertise includes educational and thought leadership roles and expansive, on-going marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, multi-billion dollar hedge funds, private equity funds, trust companies, asset management firms, banks and family offices. Her consulting work on behalf of multi-family offices and other high profile financial industry clients has led to significant revenue growth and earned her a high level of respect in the financial services industry.

She earned a B.S. in Journalism and an M.A. in Communications, both with honors, at the University of Florida. While there, she also concentrated in statistics and Latin American Affairs. She was named Graduate Research Student of the Year, and previously worked as an adjunct professor at the University of Florida, University of Miami and University of South Florida where she taught communications courses. She is an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of the New York Junior League, The League Club of Naples and Greater Naples Leadership.
Harald Frost, PhD. is a Managing Director who has been working for financial institutions since 1993. He has studied business administration and received a doctor’s degree in statistics, with a focus on regression and model testing techniques. After working for a German state bank for almost five years, he joined IBM Germany’s business consulting company. Since 2007, has specialized in trading and risk management projects. Over the years he has developed a tool-based approach for highly efficient project communication and documentation, integrating analysis, prototyping, specification and testing in a unified framework.

Harald has written several publications with Ludwig Fahrmeir on Statistical Modelling and Model testing. He is a member of Ludwig Fahrmeir's research team.

Sibei Jiang (Roger), is a Pace University graduate candidate who has practical experience managing $625,000 university investment fund with 7% return in 4 months. His specialty includes equity research, valuation modeling, portfolio management and start-up due diligence. He has rich experience working in the startup investing world and able to identify catalysts/impediments of each startup business by looking at the business model. Roger obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree at the University of Nebraska Omaha in 2013. He is also the Certified Hedge Fund Professionals (CHP) level 1 holder, a certification program that issued by the Hedge Fund Group (HFG) exclusively for professionals working in the hedge fund industry or for service providers who would like to better understand and serve hedge funds as clients.
