Panelists discussed what happens when you invest, save, and make your dollar pay for your lifestyle. The event was moderated by BE’s Caroline V. Clarke, host of the Black Enterprise Business Report and Women of Power TV show. The “Power of Black Twitter” panel featured the award-winning writer, blogger, community activist, and black feminist Feminista Jones, and CEO of Innov8tiv . The panel was moderated by BE’s Technology Editor Patrick Lucas Austin. Kim Wales, CEO of Wales Capital, and Candace Mitchell, CEO of Techturized, spoke on the topic of “Crowdfunding and the Art of Asking for Money,” which addressed alternative routes to getting a dream business financed. The panel was hosted by Carolyn M. Brown, BE’s Senior Content Producer.
